Lawyer Fabian Gilles joined the team of Gercke Wollschläger since 2022. He advises on all areas of white collar criminal law as well as on the interfaces with public law, in particular constitutional law.
Mr. Gilles studied at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-University in Bonn, majoring in commercial law. During his studies, he was employed at the Institute for Criminal Law (chair of Prof. Dr. Stuckenberg) as well as in the department for civil procedure law of a renowned German law firm in Bonn. After his studies, he worked for several years as a research assistant at the Institute for Public Law at the University of Bonn (Chair of Prof. Dr. Gärditz), where he also took on teaching responsibilities. He completed his legal clerkship in the judicial district of the Higher Regional Court of Düsseldorf, where he worked, inter alia, in the department for commercial criminal law at the public prosecutor’s office in Wuppertal, in the State Chancellery of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia, in the litigation department of the major international law firm Hogan Lovells and at Gercke Wollschläger. He is currently completing his doctorate in the areas of constitutional and criminal procedure law.
